I was at the Mushroom Festival in Kennet Square last weekend. Factoid: The Kennet Square regoin produces over a million pounds of mushrooms a week. While I expected another nice taste of Torchbearer Sauces’ Zombie Apocalypse hot sauce to short circuit my tongue into thinking it was actually cold, I did not expect a different experience. Ice cream that is HOT. You take a taste, its cool, then your throat lights up with heat, so you eat more ice cream and it gets hotter, then cooler, then hotter. Bliss for those of us who enjoy habanero burgers with jalapeños.
